The services, memorials and tributes are now over which means today is the day we are supposed to get on with the business of life. As I plan my day which includes a visit to the bank and several stores to return items, it just doesn't seem quite right. My brother was murdered last week - shot in the chest because he gave someone a ride home. Thanks to a silent witness tip, the police know who is responsible and are now in pursuit.  The minute I found out about what happened I hopped on a plane  to be with my mother.
