As we celebrate the mother’s in our lives, it is important to remember that 1,000 woman will die today because they became a mother. There is a campaign No Mother’s Day that is asking mom’s to forgo their day and go quiet to bring awareness to the fact that most of the 1000 deaths that will happen today are preventable. I chose to not be quiet today because talking about it will hopefully bring awareness.
