My name is Kim. I am a wife to Way, mother to Brennan and Carter, poker playing entrepreneur and a slightly crazy but joyful martini-lover.
I wanted to start a blog, not to promote my business (I have another blog for that) but to document my journey into middle aged-dom (more on this in my next post) and living with teen agers. My main goal is to have their ridiculous antics haunt them when they become parents. My mother has tried that with me on many occasions but since the incidents were not properly documented in written form I simply refuse to believe they happened.
I chose to start a blog with my best friend, Kirsten, mainly because I can be lazy. I am hoping Kirsten’s blogging prowess will keep me motivated and take some of the pressure off. However, I am not that worried as I know I will find plenty of material which was apparent this weekend. It is amazing how many frustrating, laughable and just plain stupid things the three boys in my house do on a daily basis. I never thought some of it appropriate for my business blog and now I am just sad that I haven’t been documenting every little bit of it. I am waiting for the day when I can say to my adorable grandchildren, come read this story about your dad.
