An obvious choice for friend is Kirsten. She seems to know just what I need and when I need it.  She helps makes order out of chaos, laughter out of tears and fun out of frustration. The thing I love most about her is her honesty. She will say she is honest to a fault but it takes a true friend to tell you like it is.  My life became richer the day I met my friend. Happiness

A few days ago Kirsten talked about happiness in her blog: All Shiny and New.  It got me thinking about what makes me happy.  After thinking long and hard about happiness, I came to the conclusion that happiness is a state of mind where you choose to reside.  Sure some things can heighten your level of happiness but will these same things make you happy if you are in a less than happy place? Look What I Made

It has been awhile since I have been crafting, sewing, scrapping, painting or hacking together a last minute present.  Most of my creative energy has been put into the shop that shall remain nameless (TSTSRN).  I am not sure what happened but I have the bug (I think it may have to do with all the inspiration Kirsten is providing these days) and as a result I broke out the sewing machine. To Do Overload

It has been very hard to get back into my life.  Since being sick left so many items on my to do list, it all just seems so overwhelming. And being overwhelmed seems to paralyze me.  I haven't blogged because I didn't know how to restart, I haven't taken pictures because I am so far behind, I haven't cooked because nobody seemed to care that I wasn't. I Am Alive

I know I have been absent of late and for that I apologize.  I have been suffering quite a bit from what we think are allergies.  I have been moving from couch to bed to couch without really doing anything in between except for my trip to Vegas with Kirsten.
